For more than 17 years, the Boca Pointe community has stood proudly with Magen David Adom, helping keep Israelis safe and healthy each and every day throughout Israel.
This remarkable legacy began under the leadership of Burt Goodman, of blessed memory, whose commitment to Magen David Adom helped inspire a tradition of generosity that continues to make an extraordinary difference today. Boca Pointe’s first sponsored ambulance still in active service joined Magen David Adom’s fleet in June 2009, helping establish a lasting legacy of lifesaving support.
In the years since, many more Boca Pointe-sponsored ambulances have joined Magen David Adom’s fleet. Today, six Boca Pointe-supported ambulances and Mobile Intensive Care Units remain in active service, and together they have responded to an incredible 61,368 emergency calls across Israel — a remarkable impact that continues to grow each and every day.
These vehicles have responded to more than 36,700 adult medical emergencies, 4,700 pediatric emergencies, 4,200 traffic accidents, and thousands of other urgent calls. They have also answered more than 2,200 calls involving women in labor, helping ensure that mothers and babies receive care when every moment matters.
Behind every one of these numbers is a person, a family, a child, or a newborn whose life was touched because help arrived when it was needed most.
That is the extraordinary impact of Boca Pointe. Through your generosity, Magen David Adom’s medics and paramedics are able to answer the call in communities throughout Israel, providing lifesaving care during everyday medical emergencies as well as in moments of national crisis.
More than 61,000 emergency responses. Thousands of children cared for. More than 2,200 calls involving women in labor. Countless families helped — all because of a community that continues to stand with Israel.
We are deeply grateful to the Boca Pointe community, to the leaders who built this legacy, and especially to the memory of Burt Goodman, z”l, whose leadership helped pave the way for the lifesaving impact that continues today.
