Boca Pointe “Clowns on Call” will be offering a free 6-8 week Clown Training Workshop to any kids residing in Boca Pointe or who have close relatives living here. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to learn at least three clown skills, including: Magic, Balloon Twisting and Juggling including Plate Spinning! We are hoping to start in early November for 6-8 weeks, ending with our annual performance during Christmas week at The Club. Anyone who attends The Workshop will be welcome to join the cast of the show.

You don’t have to want to become a clown to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to learn a new skill. The ability to do amazing card tricks to astound your family and friends, learn to make an adorable dog balloon to make a friend smile, or juggling scarves or balls or spinning a plate on a long stick, has changed many kids lives because they can perform something no one else can. There are no fees, and we will supply all the materials needed. If you choose to attend and then decide the activities are not for you, just drop out. We totally understand this type of training is not for everyone, but here is a chance to see if it’s for you!

The day or days, time, and site will be determined by those who sign up with me. This is a brand new venture of community service, so we don’t want to commit to specifics until we have a group. All I can say is this- I personally have trained over 500 kids of various ages in clowning skills, and 90% enjoyed the experience, and many used those skills during their growing up years to “shine” in the eyes of their families and friends.

I am extremely proud of the expertise our clowns have developed, so this is really an outstanding opportunity for kids in our community. There are only a few clown schools for kids in the whole country and none in Florida, and of course the fees for similar training are very high, but our group is made up of Volunteers, who love what they do and are happy to share their knowledge and skills.
For more information, please don’t hesitate to call my home phone (561-362-6695) or email me ([email protected]). I am hoping to have about 10 kids participate. Thanks for reading this!
