As we welcome the start of a new school year, Boca Pointe will see an increase in morning and afternoon traffic from parents, buses, and students traveling to and from school. This is a busy time, and we’re asking all residents and guests to help keep our community safe by following a few important guidelines.
Please Follow Posted Speed Limits
Our roads are used by families, students, walkers, cyclists, and daily traffic. Staying within the speed limits helps prevent accidents and keeps everyone safe:
• Boca Pointe Drive: 30 mph
• Via de Sonrisa del Norte Drive: 25 mph
• Promenade Drive: 20 mph
Driving at safe speeds is especially important during school drop‑off and pick‑up times.
Do Not Block Gate Exits or Park in Entry Lanes
Some parents wait near the gates for buses, which can cause backups and make it hard for residents, guests, and emergency vehicles to get through.
Please remember:
• Do not park or wait in the entry lanes
• Use a designated parking area if you need to wait for your child’s bus
A little extra care helps keep traffic moving and prevents delays at the gates.
