Dear Friends And Supporters Of Magen David Adom

I know you are busy, it is summer after all, so this email will only take 60 seconds to read.

I wanted to take a moment to share a brief update from Magen David Adom as we recently marked a remarkable milestone—96 years of saving lives and caring for the people of Israel. (See attached photos from our MDA archives).

For nearly a century, supporters like you have ensured that MDA’s paramedics, EMTs, volunteers, blood services teams, and emergency responders have the resources they need to answer every call for help. Because of your generosity, MDA remains ready to respond to medical emergencies, terror attacks, natural disasters, and times of war throughout Israel.

On behalf of all of us at AFMDA and MDA, thank you for making this lifesaving work possible.

One of the most important—and often overlooked—programs Magen David Adom undertakes is the training of its paramedics. Before entering the field, each MDA paramedic completes more than 2,000 hours of rigorous instruction and hands-on clinical training, preparing them to serve as Israel’s most highly skilled pre-hospital medical professionals.

Over the past year, these highly skilled lifesavers have worked tirelessly during one of the most challenging periods in Israel’s history. Many spent holidays away from their families while serving alongside IDF units, staffing more than 200 MDA stations across the country, and responding not only to daily medical emergencies but also directly to missile impact sites and mass-casualty incidents. Their courage, professionalism, and compassion save lives every day.

Most importantly, this critical training program is funded directly through tzedakah. Supporters like you are helping ensure that the next generation of MDA paramedics is prepared to answer every call for help.

We are also leading another Solidarity Mission to Israel from October 11–15. If you have not visited Israel since October 7th, or would like to see firsthand the impact of your support, I encourage you to consider joining us. Participants will receive exclusive briefings, meet MDA’s frontline heroes, participate in hands on volunteer opportunities, visit key facilities, and gain a unique behind-the-scenes look at Israel’s national emergency medical service.

If you would like information about the mission, are considering a 2026 gift, or are planning a trip to Israel and would like to visit an MDA facility, please contact me directly at 561-288-5658 or simply email me.

Thank you for standing with Israel and with Magen David Adom. At a time when Israel needs strength, resilience, and hope, your partnership is helping ensure that MDA remains ready to answer every call.

Am Yisrael Chai,
